Facing a new level of competition in the hardware market, Bunnings made a strategic decision to redevelop stores in key locations across the country. Realserve was brought in by the Bunnings Project Development Coordinator to quote on Existing Conditions Surveys for a total of 16 Bunnings stores. The scope involved a Base Building survey, locating all columns and services within the stores floor space.
A two month program was outlined for Bunnings and once approved, we worked quickly to organise teams in each state and began working hard to meet the deadline. Everything was coordinated from our head office in NSW. Our turnaround time for each store was 4‐5 days from arriving on site to delivering the final drawings.
Having been a Realserve customer for more than 10 years, Bunnings was familiar with our capabilities and confident in our ability to deliver. We did not want to let them down. Starting with only the original architectural plans from when the stores were first constructed, we were able to deliver on the client's timeline and provide them with survey accurate drawings enabling them to begin with their store development on schedule.
