3D LASER SCANNING FOR HERITAGE BUILDINGS
USING 3D LASER SCANNING TECHNOLOGY TO PRESERVE HERITAGE BUILDINGS
A recent Realserve innovation when it comes to surveying is the use of our 3D laser scanner to accurately model a heritage listed building in South Australia.This building required upgrades which included;
- Building code compliance.
- Disable access.
- New fit-out for offices.
Realserve were asked to provide existing conditions plans and elevations for the Designer. Our new 3D laser scanner was put to work and utilising this latest technology Realserve was also able to provide a true colour point cloud. The Designer and Services consultants will now be able to insert the point cloud into REVIT or other 3D software.
Internal and external laser scan produce a Point Cloud which is the latest in 3D measurement output for;
